During mobilization the 8 peacetime fortress pioneer battalions were expanded into 10 poineer regiments. The regimental numbers were 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 and the Bavarian pioneer Regiment. This was found on an M. 15 helmet. |
