Nash, Almark Publications, London 1970.
"This concise coverage of an extensive subject is
intended to explain the organization and equipment
of the German artillery of the Great War." True.
Old. 1970. Light treatment and a REALLY BAD BINDING
unless of course you get the hardback version. It
is 48 pages instead of the 56 in its sister book on
the Infantry. It explains field then foot artillery
and their weapons. It then goes into other artillery
formations and uniforms. there are seven color
plates and it is in ENGLISH.
It is a
pocket primer with a nice OB. Don't break your neck
getting this but worth having if you find one. Where
else do you get 48 pages of artillery? Nice older
publication and Nash writes well, If you are an
Imperial beginner, or are looking for a start point in
Artillery this one is fine. Relatively cheap but not
easy to locate. Nice diagrams and pictures.
