Saxon Reserve Officer. The reserve cross is behind the
state crest. Both are in silver on top of a gilt
star.

There are two notable things in this helmet.
The spike itself is a whopping 13mm tall. This is far
higher than the regulation and is as tall as any in my
collection. The liner is Awes-Marke but without any of
the premium markings. (Characteristic threading on the
leather.)So I would say a mid or lower level
helmet.
